Sleep Over 2010 / November 19th, 2010

A time for girls to do girly things. From hanging out and talking to getting ya hair did. Sometimes, girls just need to be girls without having to be interupted by crazy little boys. This event is for just that. There will be no boys allowed at all. We will also provide food and drinks through out the night.

Lock-In-2010 / November 19th, 2010

It is time for our annual Lock-In Event. So, without further delay, short and simple. It is time for Lock-In-2010! I know it may be hard to contain yourself. But, if you like pillow battles, video games, and food. Well, I am sure that I got you excited.

This is a boys and boys only event. The girls have their own event and this is not it.

Here is a run down of the event.

Splash - Lake Party Event (Complete)

HeirForce will be ending summer with a splash. Splash is a lake party we will be having to celebrate the 6th graders who are moving on and the 3rd graders that are moving in.

The event will be held at Riverbend Retreat Center located in Glen Rose, Texas from 2pm to 4pm on August 29th, 2010.

We will be meeting after Sunday Service at about 12:10pm and leaving at around 12:30pm. For transportation we will be using the shuttle buses and personal vehicals.

Every child must have a release form filled out by parents. Please make sure to have updated information.

We will have 2 full hours of lake time for HeirForce. At 4:20pm we should be loading back onto the buses and other vehicals for our return. We should arrive back at HFCC parking lot by 5:45pm.

Please make sure your child brings proper swimming attire. We do request either one piece suits for girls or a two piece with t-shirt. As for the boys, make sure they bring swim shorts with proper tightening attachments.

The cost for this event is $6.50 for each child. (Those that have just completed the 6th grade and were previous members of the HeirForce department now moved into Submerge, are allowed to attend at no cost.)

Discovery Camp 2010

This years camp was a huge success. We took a total of 41 children and 9 volunteers. This was the largest amount of children we have taken.

Children learned of Jesus and accepted salvation, got filled with the Holy Spirit, and herd from God. Their hearts were touched and they have returned with changed lives.

I would like to thank all the parents who allowed their children to attend. We look forward to seeing the growth that we will continue to see in each and every child.
